Charcuterie isn't just about food—it's about creating an experience, a memory, a moment of connection. For me, Cheesy Lifestyle began as something small: an offering to a local potluck. Over time, it became much more than just a platter; it became my way of nurturing relationships, creating bonds, and telling stories through the art of food. Painting a food picture for a special event.
I’ve always been a social person—growing up as an only child, I learned to observe and understand human nature, and through that, I developed a passion for creating spaces where people could gather and connect. A well-crafted charcuterie board does more than fill a table—it fills a need for connection. Whether it’s the careful selection of cheeses and meats or the thoughtfulness behind pairing them with seasonal fruits and nuts, a charcuterie board is an invitation to come together, share a story, and enjoy the simple pleasure of good food.
To me, charcuterie is about building community. It’s about sharing what I love with others and watching how those shared experiences create new relationships. I started my journey by making platters for friends and family, but now, every board I create is a tribute to the people who inspired me and the connections that continue to shape my life. In each board, I paint the voice of my ancestors who were making their own cheese and who were smoking their own meats and to me, this is a priceless process.
